What makes this wooden outbuilding, with its streamlined architecture, stand out is its understated design, enhanced by a curved roof edge clad in thin slats of thermo ash. The organic lines soften the overall effect and add subtle movement to the building, without compromising the tranquillity or simplicity of the design. A timber overhang discreetly incorporates a six-metre-wide awning, which is completely concealed. This preserves the purity of the lines while offering optimal comfort.
The closed rear wall of the luxury pool house visually extends into fencing that runs along the edge of the plot. Made from the same wood, with exactly the same profile and finish, the two elements form a continuous and soothing ensemble. This wall provides privacy and protection in a subtle way, while the large three-panel sliding glass door creates a generous opening from the pool house into the garden, creating a wonderful balance between openness and privacy.
The refined, bespoke outbuilding is arranged in a functional way: on the garden side, an open space serves as a pool house and an area in which to relax. To the rear is an enclosed professional area, clad entirely in thermo pine with a black oil finish. The sectional garage door on the façade side is perfectly integrated, blending seamlessly into the overall architecture. The finish is meticulous, and enhances the visual harmony, elegantly combining functionality and style.
